During a live tender the workbook multiplies. Email attachments, desktop copies and a file in the job folder stop agreeing about which rates are current.
Name one current file
Decide where the live job lives. Everything else is a copy that cannot be priced from. If several people must work at once, that is a sign to look at a hybrid, not a reason to keep emailing the workbook.
Revisions you can point at
A revision note, a date and a person beat a filename. When the price changes, the file should say what changed.
