Privacy Act 2020 statement

Estim8 Labs is the estimating division of XLS Experts, based in Auckland, New Zealand. This statement explains what we collect when you use estim8labs.co.nz, why we collect it, and how to ask for access or a correction.

What we collect

  • Your name, company, email, phone number, trade or industry, and the message you send through a form.
  • A spreadsheet or PDF, if you choose to attach one for a health check or review.
  • Details you give when you request a discovery call or the 10 Pillars guide.
  • Messages you send in the site chat.
  • Basic visit information, such as the page you were on, if you allow analytics cookies.

Why we collect it

We use this information to reply to you, review an estimating file you asked us to look at, arrange a call, and send the guide when you request it. If you tick the option for occasional estimating guidance, we use your email for that until you unsubscribe. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising cookies.

A file you attach is used to assess your estimating process. We treat it as confidential. We can sign an NDA on request. You do not have to send a file, or any of the other details, but we may not be able to respond usefully without them.

Cookies

On this site, analytics cookies stay off until you choose Allow analytics. You can decline them and still use the site and the forms. Advertising storage stays off.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details, call requests and files for as long as we are working with you and for our own record of that enquiry. Guide downloads and mailing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, under the Privacy Act 2020. Call 021 783 967 or use the contact form. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
